DL380 does not start monitor after firmware upgrades

I seem to have destroyed my DL380 G4 servers. I updated the server to W2K3 R2. Then installed the following firmware upgrades in this order:

1. HP ProLiant DL380 G4 (P51) 2006.04.26
cp006520.exe

2. HP Integrated Lights-Out 1.84
cp006487.exe

3. Smart Array 6i 2.68 A CP006627.exe from
DVD-ROM OSW2003 R2

4. HP NC10xx_67xx_77xx_150x_320x Gigabit Server Adapter Online Firmware Upgrade
Utility for Windows 2000_Wi.exe

After the final reboot, the monitor will not come out of stand-by. Also, the disk array boots a bit differently. The arrows light up for 30-60 seconds, then the cylinder lights come on. Finally, after inspecting the "Status" LEDs on the main board, I notice only two of them are on; compared to a functioning server where all of the LEDS are on. Now I can't get my server to respond to image DVDs and I don't know how to recover. Any thoughts?

The problem is the NIC firmware upgrade. Remove the Nic from the system and see if it will power on. I opened a case recently for this issue and they replaced the nic card. Hope that helps.
