Re: DL58 G2 - Must hit F1 every reboot
Hi Brian,
the F1 prompt comes up if there are any POST error messages. Observer the POST and see if any errors come up, and take appropriate action.
You could also disable or delay the F1 prompt in BIOS Setup (RBSU), under Server Availability -> POST F1 Prompt. Delayed means it waits for about 20 seconds at the F1 prompt, then continues to boot, without any user interaction.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: DL58 G2 - Must hit F1 every reboot
You may wish to check the IML (Integrated Management Log) from the SMH (System Management Homepage) for clues as to why the server is hanging at the F1 prompt on every boot.
