DVD addition in Proliant DL380 G2

Hi,

I will be installing a new application in a DL380 G2 server (1 Intel Pentium III FC PGA2 1.26 GHz Processor #235438-001) that comes in DVD format.

I'd like to know if it is possible to replace the existing standard CDROM with the Slimline DVD-ROM (8x24x)part #264007-B21. Sounds simple, but I just want to doublecheck if it's safe to order the replacement drive.

I'd appreciate your input.
