Disabling the IOL on ML370 G4

I don't have the ILO NIC connected. I would like to disable it for now but can't seem to locate the interface at boot up. I'm told to F8 but doesn't seem to work.

Re: Disabling the IOL on ML370 G4

Why disabling the Port if it is not connected?

However, while booting there should be a message beginning with "insight lights out" and ending with "press F8 to configure".
At this moment you have to press F8 to get to the iLO RBSU.

If someone has changed the configuration of the iLO, maybe a username and password is required, this can be found inside the server case.

Also someone could have disabled iLO RBSU access, then you have to connect the NIC to an existing LAN and reconfigure iLO by browser access.

The iLOO RBSU is also accessible if the iLO security switch is set to override. Where this switch is located is described on the inside of the servers case.
