Drive Spanning For HP Proliant ML350 G3 311523-371

My current server have 2 harddrive configured as Raid 1. Right now i will like to increase the HDD space as my previous 2 HDD space running low. Any solution for me to increase the HDD space but i don't want to change my current Raid setting or format the HDD? If i really need to change the raid setting (i prefered to change the raid fr 1 to 3) or format the HDD , any backup solution recommend, which able to backup all my data, including the application in c?
