Event viewer error

ML370 with nt 4.0. Got this event event viewer error after boot.

Component: Compaq OS Information Agent
Error: Could not write the registry sub-key:"Timeout"
Cause: This error can be caused by a corrupt registry or low memory condition. Rebooting may correct this error.

Rebooting did not correct the error. Task Mgr shows the appropriate amount of ram (1162mb) and shows plenty of physical available.

Any ideas? Thanks
