Format HardDrives (ML150 G3)
I think I've shot myself in the foot . . .
We just got in an ML150 G3 with two 150G SATA drives in it and no OS installed. When attempting to install Win2K3 Standard, it aborts due to "no hard drives found".
I eventually got a built in utility that lets you format the hard drives, but in the middle of the format, I inadvertantly aborted the format and cannot seem to get back that utility to completely format the drives.
In any case, how does one go about the task of installing Win2K3 on this ML150 G3 ?????

Re: Format HardDrives (ML150 G3)
I made an attempt at using nLite to slipstream the drivers for the install, but that still didn't work. F6 would not work and it still wanted a floppy disk in drive A.
It's starting to get frustrating in here . . . .

Re: Format HardDrives (ML150 G3)
OK, now I understand . . .
The Disk Utility only shows when the RAID option is selected in the BIOS config setup.
So, I went with the RAID setup, set my raid drives into an array, named the array and quick inited it.
Then I re-structured the nLite setup to utilize ONLY the SATA RAID drivers from HP's drivers site for the ML150 G3, burned the new CD and voila! It took ! ! !
Thanks to Anad at HP Help Desk!
