G8 with raid controller 440, how to boot ESXi 5.5 from SSD

hello

i am wondering if you have a suggestion, I have GEN8 with raid controller 440..  i have SSD and local HD for storage. I need to create MBR on SSD so that ESXi 5.5 will boot from the SSD and not local storage.   you appear to have some background. thank you

Is the SSD connected to teh P440, or is it using the embedded SATA/B120i?
