HP 410 Controller not seen by OS

We purchased a HP410 with 512 cache along with the drives. The BIOS configuration for the new drives went as expected and I configured at as RAID5. The OS found the device, but it is Unknown and  therefore does not see the drives. Drivers are not posted on HP website so I am stuck. The system is running RH4.6. Please advise.

Lspci shows:

1f:00.0 RAID bus controller: Hewlett-Packard Company: Unknown device
323a (rev 01)
