HP NC7170 NICs won't show in HP Network Config util

Hi

We've just restored a previous image, using Ghost, to a DL380 R02 P3 and now the HP Network Config util won't recognise the additional NC7170 NIC's. It does recognise the
onboard 3163's, but it says the miniport driver needs to be updated. We disable them by default, so they're not required.

NC7170 driver = 8.10.1.0
PSP 7.91

We've tried updating the NIC driver & reinstalling the HP Network Util, but to no avail.

To get the NIC's and NCU (Network Configuration Utility) to work together, it is often easiest to just install the latest versions of both. HP adds driver version dependencies to the NCU.

One gotcha is that the latest NCU probably won't work with the NC3163's, but I think you mentioned you don't use them anyway.
