HP System Management - Refuse my user/password

Hi,

I want to access the HP System Management interface via a web browser (IE7) on my server at http://127.0.0.1:2381, the page say: "NOTE: This version of the HP System Management Homepage uses host operating system authentication." and I have to input 2 fields: user and password. I try with my "administrator" account (and with his password) and I get: "Error Login Failed".

What can I do to get access to this HP System Management in this case ?

Re: HP System Management - Refuse my user/password

NOTE:

I also tried with many other accounts listed in my AD that have standard user rights or administrator rights (included in Admin group) and the result is the same...

I never used the HP System Management before, it's the first time that I try to access it... than I never "configured something in HP System Management" to block the access (and the computer is running/installed since many months). I tested on 3 servers with different version of HSM (2.1.2.127 and 2.0.2.106)... same end.

Ok, I find the problem...

On Windows platform, the username need the domain name also like:

User: DOMAIN\user
Password: mypassword

You can also login using a local (non-domain) account such as the following:

Username: Administrator
Password: myPassword

I have this problem too. But neither domain name, nor something else doesn't solve this trouble for me.

Any ideas? Need help.
