Hot Plug AIT2
Is there a hot plug ait2 drive for the DL380 G4?
I found a part number 215487-B21 on the web but it isn't listed as an option for the G4 although a search of the Hp site does show it exists. If HP doesn't sell one is there a kit available to attach a Sony AIT2. I need an internal option only. Thanks.

hi,
this model of server mounts inner only these two types of tape:
- 40 DAT Hot Plug
- 72 DAT Hot Plug.
they do not have need of added why they come managed from controller smart the Array 6i (on board) for the external others tape can be connected without problems, for some models must be bought one card scsi in order to manage the more recent models.

model AIT 50/100 is not compatible with smart the Array 6i therefore cannot be put in this serveur.
