How do I get configuration info based on serial #
Have serial # of old Compaq Proliant ML310 server but do not where I can go online to see what the original configuration was when originally purchased.
Tried warranty support but it is over.
Tried calling HP but got stuck in phone push button voicemail hell.

Re: How do I get configuration info based on serial #
post the serial number bit realize that any options or additionas will not be linked to the serial number so it might be better to download and run the offline configuration utility located
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3219755&swItem=MTX-9a61e37a9aaa462c8f0e147d63&prodNameId=3285491&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=3
This will tell you the configuration that is in the system at this point without the need for an OS
