Re: Is posible configure RAID5 on ML150 w/ E200 SATA HD

Hi, I have the RAID card with 128mb upgrade, I have 4 SATA disks connected to the mother board SATA connectors but I can not find how to enter the card configuration. try pressing F8 but it does not work. is properly connected to the board or the disks that are connected to the RAID card.

Are you being prompted to enter the configuration of the adapter after POST?

You may need to disable the embedded RAID controller.

Go to advanced options in BIOS - advanced chipset and disable the SATA raid option for embedded controller.

Re: Is posible configure RAID5 on ML150 w/ E200 SATA HD

An ORCA prompt message appears during the initialization process for that controller only if drives are detected.

The error is indicating that no drives have been connected to the E200 board, or the drives have been connected incorrectly.

The cables is connected directly to the mother board, I not clear on this but is necessary connect the hard drives to the RAID controller directly???
