Re: LC2000 D8519A P2 400
if this server does not recognize the Navigator cd M.02.00 then something else is wrong, LC2000 is supported with older cd releases like L.18.xx, L.19.xx and M.01.00 so a M.02.00 should work just fine.
However the model you listed D8519A is not a PII 400 but normally a PIII 600 Mhz and maybe you need a later navigator like M.04.05 which is the last one released for these type of Netservers.
As of M.04.00 it should work for sure as that cd release includes the LC2000 Ultra 3 models.
Not sure what you need to recover at customer site but all drivers for this LC2000 are available on the HP website, so you don't really need the navigator cd.
Other then that, try ebay or alike, their are probably some for sale their.

Re: LC2000 D8519A P2 400
You can always install your server with the plain w2k cd and use the F6 key during the install phase to add drivers that are not known by the w2k media, all those drivers can download from the HP web.
If you really need a navigator cd then have a look on the internet i'm sure they are for sale somewhere.

Re: LC2000 D8519A P2 400
The problem is that the system won´t boot win2k from cd or floppy (i tried my good old win98 bootdisc)
I initalize the system (ram-check, disc-check) and holds with a black screen an blinking coursor.

Re: LC2000 D8519A P2 400
as i mentioned yesterday, if you have M.04.00 or M.04.05 (the last one ever released for E and L-series Netservers) then you are covered for these servers :
E60/E800
LH3/LH4
LC3
LPr
LC2000 U2 and U3
LP1000r/LP2000r
LH3000/LH6000/Lt6000r U2 and U3
LXr8000/LXr8500r
The TC-series have another Navigator release M.04.60 for TC3100/TX4100
The older E-series servers had other releases like F.01.35 i.e. for E30/40/45/50

Re: LC2000 D8519A P2 400
if your system (which model ??) does not boot from floppy or w2k cdrom , it won't boot from the navigator cdrom either.
Try clearing the CMOS/config via the config clear switch on the motherboard and try again.
