LC2000 Overhaul & Refit with NetRaid-2M and 4 SCSI's
In a hospitality environment we're using an LC2000 with a Netraid-1M and 3 18gb SCSI's.
We've recently purchased a NetRaid-2M and 4 73gb SCSI's...for refit.
We need to transfer the logical volume from the current array onto the new Netraid-2M and 73gb drives.
Is this complicated? How is it done? Couldn't locate anything useful in Support.

Re: LC2000 Overhaul & Refit with NetRaid-2M and 4 SCSI's
Hi Duane,
if you have an ATA disk (the LC2000 has no USB port for an external disk, or if you have an USB controller you may use ann external USB disk), than you can use for example Acronis or any other software to mirror the volumes on that new disk. After the copy job replace the Netraid-1M by 2M, build up the array and volumes, and restore the server.
Regards
Manfred
