LC2000 Problem

My Lc2000 doesn't start before to display anything.
It emits the beep code 1-3-3-1 that i found should be DRAM problem.
I changed the DRAM with a working one, but it still doesn't start.
What else can i do?

Re: LC2000 Problem

Hi Matteo,

1-3-3-1 is the error you get if the RAM is no good. If you've replaced it with known working supported RAM, then the issue is likely with the system board. Did you try different slots? Are you using genuine HP branded RAM? Netservers are very picky about the RAM you use. If you try to use non-ECC RAM, then the ECC circuitry on the system board will fail when it tries to correct a memory error.

Another step you can try is clearing the CMOS with DIP switch 5 on the system board.

Check it out and let us know what you find out,
