LH 3000 Fans
LH 3000 with SCO UNIX 5.0.5
I used canned air to clean out the system yesterday and now the fans are all stuck on high speed.
This server has been fine for years and not I am wondering what is going on.
I was as carefull as possible not to touch anything while cleaning, other than unplug the power cord and take off the sides.
The server boots up fine and there are no problems with the OS.
The fans will just not idle down like they use to upon powerup.
thanks,
br

Re: LH 3000 Fans
Do U see an event in the System Event Log from the front panel that would refer to a failed fan for instance?

Re: LH 3000 Fans
The system eventlog just shows power cycles and boot ups.
I went through those yesterday hoping I would see something but no luck.
I am just lost for an explanation on this one.
THanks,
br
