LH4 NetServer - NetRAID + Win2k3
I'm currently trying to install Windows 2003 Server onto a LH4 NetServer with the "Intergrated NetRAID Adapter" Firmware Version: D.03.04.
I have configured 7 9GB drives into a RAID 5 array.
Now when I boot off the Windows 2003 CD I install the drivers from the HP website and then the install hangs at "Setup is starting windows". I've tried the built in drivers, windows 2k drivers, NT4 drivers and I've tried to install Win2k Server but the same thing happens everytime. (win2k says it cant detect the drives after "setup is starting windows")
I'm at a loss, can anyone help me out here I really need to get this server going.
Thanks

Re: LH4 NetServer - NetRAID + Win2k3
Hi Luke,
Try to disable ACPI as follows on boot up
1. Press F7 to disable the ACPI, just before you pressed F6 to (Manualy load the HP driver) and should work that way.
2. Press F6 like normally you do to manually load the driver
I hope this helps
Regards

Thanks. I will give that a try when I get back to the office tomorrow.
I'll let you know.
