ML 150 G3 Caught in Reboot Loop
After a brief power down to move our 4 servers into a cabinet, I was dissappointed to learn the our HP ML 150 G3 would not boot completely. It goes through all the standard post stuff, raid/drive hardware checking and finally Windows initiates. But after about 10 seconds of the black screen with the Windows logo and the green progress bars, the machine suddenly reboots. It keeps this up indefinitely.
I have no idea where to even begin. (It's been a long day!)

Re: ML 150 G3 Caught in Reboot Loop
A little more research, prodding & poking reveals that Drive01 is not in any of the lists that the utilities display.
There are 4 physical drives, each 150Gb and mirrored. I suspect that Drive01 is FUBAR'd and requires replacing.
I will remove Drive01 from the mount and see if the system comes up then report back.

Re: ML 150 G3 Caught in Reboot Loop
OK, pulling Drive01 resulted in the system rebooting properly. I've just ordered a new drive and all should be well and good after it gets here and it is installed.
I'll report back then.
