ML 310 Storage Devices
Hello...
I'm trying to find out if the Sony AITi100/s drive is compatible w/ the ML 310. Can anyone point to where the tech specs might show me this?
I tried to chat w/ support, but they don't offer Server chat support!
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Re: ML 310 Storage Devices
Chris:
As long as you have a supported adaptor that works with the Sony, I do not see why it would not work in an ML310.
HP has an assortment of SCSI adaptors, but you can also use others... Adaptec, etc. All, or most, of which should work in the server.
The single channel adaptor that comes with the server might work as well, probably would need a cable adaptor for the drive to connect to the internal bus, or just get a secondary card.
Is the Sony old? or relatively new?
Steven
