ML 330 G3 1611 Fan failure

Hi every one
I've upgraded a Proliant ML330 G3 to dual-xeon 2.8ghz
The probleme is that I don't have a 4pin fan, but a 3pin fan (used an adapter to power it)
The system work and boot after 2 to 4 reboots but under windows XP (just for test) I've a system message asking to shutdown the system.
Is there a way of turn of the fan failure detection in the bios or at least under windows.
For my tests I've to run in mono-xeon.
