hi all, can i use a Compaq Smart Array 3200 LVD SCSI PCI RAID in my proliant ml 380 ?

Yes, you can use the card in the DL380 and DL380 G2 servers in the 5volt PCI slot.

The SmartArray 3200 is a 5v PCI card and will not work in the Generation 3 and 4 servers.

are both pci slots 5 volt ?

No... only one is 5volt 33MHz... the other two are 3volt 66MHz

Ohh boy...

i dont have the server in front of me but i could swear that it only had 2 pci slots...

just to revisit the server specs.. its a DL380 G2
