ML110 G4 and SATA RAID on WIndows 2008
I try to install a Windows 2008 standard server x64 (but if needed I can install the x86 version) in a HP ML110 G4 with a SATA RAID 1.
The installation detects 2 hard disks instead one. If I use the 2003 driver the installation don’t detect any disk drive.
There’s a driver disk available for Windows 2008?
I need this driver?
Some help, please!
Thanks and sorry for my bad English!

Re: ML110 G4 and SATA RAID on WIndows 2008
On my ML110 G4 i have installed Windows 2008 Standard x64 and i have no problems with the Raid Controller.
The only thing i need ist the Storage Manager that i can guard the Raid Controller.

Re: ML110 G4 and SATA RAID on WIndows 2008
Hi Juan,
I had the same issue initially, even tried several SATA jumper settings, but 2008 wouldn't see any disks ?! I gave up and installed VMWare ESX, which went fine, but it ignored the RAID controller completely ! Then thought I would be successful with 2008 again, using the latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager 8.2.3 (using floppy), but failed. I went back into the RAID manager (F8 at boot) and performed a "Clear" on my RAID1. Took several hours, but voila .. 2008 saw one 148GB disk on which I could create a partition and install Standard x64 ! Now planning to install Hyper-V and run a few virtuals, wish me luck.

I put without the RAID support and go on!
I think it's only a drivers problem!
