ML110 G5 E7400 with loud system fan

Yesterday I got my new ML110 G5 with E7400 CPU and 4GB ram. I wan't to setup SBS2008. One of the first things I did was updating the Bios from 03/12/2009 to 10/09/2009. However I notice that after switching on the server the system fan keeps on running at maximum speed. I think, but I am not sure, that the orignal 03/12/2009 didn't have this problem.

What can I do about it? There are other posts on this subject, but than the problems were solved by installing a bios upgrade.

When I look in the Bios RT sensor data it indicates:
- CPU0 diode: n/a
- CPU0 Dmn 0 Temp: 44.0
- CPU0 Dmn 1 Temp: n/a
- CPU Prochot: Limit not exceeded
- CPU VRD Hot: Limit not exceeded

12V 11.98/12.3V
5V 5.07/5.12
3.3V 3.28/3.31

Re: ML110 G5 E7400 with loud system fan

Oops, I found out that I also needed to update "Firmware Upgrade for HP ProLiant ML115 G5\ML150 G5\ML110 G5\DL180 G5\DL120 G5 Lights-Out 100 Remote Management (For USB Key-Media)" file SP44085.exe (4.6 MB)

After installing this Rompaq the fan's are operating normal.

I had exactly the same problem and updating the initially described procedure works fine for me!
