ML150 G3 W2k3 install detect no hard disk
After loading driver HP4/8 Internal Port SAS HBA, in setup for Window 2003R2, it did not jump into format dialog and next, instead it pop up a message from installation, no harddrive found !
Please assist, whether it is required to change BIOS setup before proceed windows installation.
My hard drive is SAS1068 V1.10.01.00 IR

Re: ML150 G3 W2k3 install detect no hard disk
Dear Joe,
If you use the normal integrated SATA controller, and not the optional 8 port SATA controller, then use Intel® SATA AHCI Controller Driver instead of HP4/8 SAS HBA driver.
You can download it from HP site:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/25527.html
Also you can find other up-to-date drivers for your server at: http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/69_6265.html
I hope it will help,
Attila
