ML310 G3 Boot from IDE / SATA info.

ML310 G3 Boot from IDE / SATA info.

Does anyone if it is possible to boot from an ide drive instead of the onboard sata controller?

Also i'm old school, not had much to do with sata, the sata drives i already have seem to have a smaller cable connection the one on the mobo of the ml310 seems to have more pins, can anyone advise?
