ML350 G4 Install new SCSI HDD

I have a server which has 4 HDD configured as RAID 1. Now I want to add an additional HDD (300GB SCSI hotswap). When I installed the hard drive, the HDD light is on for about 20 seconds and then off. When I check the log on the server, it said "Drive array device failure (Slot 3, Bus 1, Bay 5)". Does any one know what happens? Thanks in advance.
