ML350 G5 Delayed Write Failed
I'm getting a "Delayed Write Failed" error every time when trying to copy a large 50Gb+ file to a RAID 5 array on a E200i controller. I do not get the error when copying the same file to a Mirrored drive set on the same controller. The error occurs even when copying the same file from the mirrored set to the RAID 5 set when both arrays anre on the same controller. The RAID 5 physical Drives are 600GB SAS the mirrored drives are 72GB serial SCSI. I did not have the problem when copying from a USB external drive to the mirrored drives I still have the problem when trying to copy to the RAID 5 array independent of the source. Any Ideas?

Re: ML350 G5 Delayed Write Failed
How much cache does the controller have? Is the battery in good condition?
Can you run a diagnostic with ACU?
