ML350 W2K3 SP1 event log problems

Has anyone seen an issue with W2K3 SP1 and the System Event Log? What we're experiencing on 4 different ML 350 G3 & G4's is after installing SP1 when you select the System Event Log and try and sort any of the columns you get an immediate msg stating that the log file is corrupt.

On 1 G4 we uninstalled SP1 and the problem went away ... anyone else seen this or know how to fix this problem?
