ML350 does not recognize 80GB hard drive IDE

Hello,
I am trying to install hard drive IDE 80 GB on my server ML350 Dual processor P3 866 with Windows 2000 SP4, but it don't want.
I suppose changed the bios, it's necessary, but i don't find a bios update accepting a 80GB IDE.

IDE drives are not supported in this system :). You can try to disable the drive in the bios. Sounds strange, i know, but i have seen it work on other proliants...

Hello Michael,
Thank for your reply, i disable the controleur IDE in bios, it's magic, i have my disk seagate 80 Gb and my CDROM writer RICOH.
With the second IDE port, i can put two other disks IDE. :) :)!!!!!
It's wonderfull.

PS:No problem to boot in my array card 431, with my 3 disk scsi quantum.
