ML370 G4 unsupported 3C996B-T

When i place a 3COM 3C996B-T in the server he says Unsupported PCI card found Sytem halted!
Why, it is a PCI2.2 or PCI-X1.0 compliant server card supporting 33/66/100/133MHz PCI-X bus

Hi Schouwenaar:

on the G4 servers even some of the array controllers and HP nic cards are not supported

- possible bios issues
- the PCI-x slots in the server only takes 3.3 volts or universal cards

- and Some cards from HP Prolint line don't even work and will give you the same error.

example ; Smart array 5300 controller and some NC gig cards. I think it was NC7770.

Schouwenaar, in your case it's more related to curb with variety of Cards that you can use with Intel E7520 chipset
