Re: Microserver Gen10 Drive Mounting Kit

If you are going to install 3,5" drives you don't need any rail mounting kits (drive carriers as on Gen8), just install four T-15 Torx screws (up to 16 are provided) on each drive's side holes and insert the drive as is on the corresponding bay...that's it, nothing more nothing less.HPE_MicroServer_Gen10_bays.jpg

Eventually, see here.

Re: Microserver Gen10 Drive Mounting Kit

Hi,

is there any chance to get the 16 screws for mounting the hard drives into the shafts as spare parts? I've already asked the HPE support in Germany but they are not able to provide the screws as spare part. I've bought the microsever "used" from a reseller and the screws where not provided.

Thanks for support in advance.

I didn't see them listed on partsurfer.  You can buy them online pretty cheap. Search for 'torx 8 6-32 desktop hard mounting screw' found one plce selling in lots of 20
