Microserver gen10 and P410 RAID boot

Hi,

I have a Gen10 Microserver with  P410  RAID card installed and connected. I am able to configure the array as well as install linux on the array, but i am unable to boot the installed system. In both UEFI and Legacy modes there is no option to boot from P410 RAID . I can have /boot on a usb stick inside a server, but i am sure that there is a better solution.

Best regards

That card was never tested in the server and isn't supported.

That being said, the card may work in legacy boot emulation mode. Go into the P410 settings and specify the boot volume.  You willl need to install the OS while in legacy boot emulation mode, you can't install in UEFI mode and switch to legacy or vice-versa.
