Microserver gen8 B120i driver problem with vmware/linux

Current HP-VMware Images for Esxi 5.5 and 6 are containing the driver

scsi-hpvsa-5.5.0.100-1OEM.550.0.0.1331820.x86_64.vib

with this driver the RAID1 Performance is terrible low. (see table)

There are many hints on the net to downgrade the driver to

scsi-hpvsa-5.5.0-88OEM.550.0.0.1331820.x86_64.vib

Even with this driver the IO Performance is not a s good as it should be. The reading speed

is much to low. Single Disk have write/read speed >150Mb/s (see table)

Is this problem known to HP development and are there any news on that topic ?

HP Microserver Gen 8/16GB/Vmware 5.5U3 on USB/2 x 3TB  HD as RAID 1 on B120i

Just 1 VM running, no other running jobs, no rebuild etc. reading/writing 10GB

IO-Table(in Mb/s)

driver         READ     WRITE

hpvsa-100      23       28

hpvsa-88       85       124

Thanks an best regards

Peter

Still no news. I opened the case recently and receive an answer from HP support:
-----

At the moment, there is no driver update available to fix the performance issue.

It is recommended to use the old driver for the time being.
