Ml 350 G5 e200i disk migration how to
Hi
I'm about to replace disks in ma server to bigger one.
Proliant ML350 G5 w Smart Array E200i 128MB BBWC
Actually I have 3 disk 250GB in Raid 5.
Anybody knows how to migrate to bigger disks (3 x 750 GB - Raid5) easily ? Copy to another disk and then create another raid and copy data to that Raid ?
Is there any chance to change disk one by one? I think changing one disk will not expand Raid
p.s.
Regards
Rafal

Rafal,
Create another RAID 5 with 3x750 GB HDD, Image the content using Acronis or EMC. Physically Remove the old HDD , Change the Boot sequence to new RIAD 5, Hope things will work.
If not still you have a working copy of OLD Disk Array.
