NetServer 5/75 "System Error" when installing 32MB SIMMs
I have an old NetServer 5/75. I have successfully upgraded it to a 233Mhz P-MMX. It runs fine with 96MB of 16MB SIMMs. However, no matter what type of 32MB SIMMs I use, I always get a "System Error" when I have any 32MB SIMMs installed. The memory test counts up fine and the system starts to initialize, but the the screen blanks with the message "System Error" at the top of the screen.
I have various EISA boards like an ET4000 and a DPT caching SCSI card that I would like to make use of and the system would be more useful if I could actually get it to see the max 192MB RAM. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanx
