NetServer CD ROM
Good afternoon,
We just purchased an HP Netserver LH Pro Server (used) and it will not boot with our Windows 2K Advanced CD ROM... Someone has told us that the Navigator CD ROM is what we need to fix this problem.. Is this correct? if so, where can we download the Navigator CD ROM (apparently almost 2 Gigs)?
If this will not work, how should we go about making this server actually work? Or have I just wasted the money that we spent on the server?
Any Help would be greatly appreciated...!

Re: NetServer CD ROM
You don't need a navigator cd. All the files you need are available on the web. Here is a link to the all the files available for all our netservers:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Product.jsp?locale=en_US&taskId=8418&taskName=download+drivers+%26+software&prodTypeId=15351
You will find everything from drivers, to bios updates to diagnostic software. As for specific files for your LH Pro, go here:
http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix50454.html
First thing you will want to do is update the BIOS from that page. You will also need the ECU utility, as this is like entering F2 on newer systems. This will alow you to configure the system if you wish, most don't need it. If this doesn't help you, please be more specific as to what is happening.

Re: NetServer CD ROM
ALso remember that WIn 2k needs a NetRAID card of 3si or above which means you need to by pass the on board card. YOu can do that from ECU by using the PCI to boot first.
