Netserver LH II Processors

Machine is a an NT 4.0 SP 6a OS with dual 333 processors. Primarily used as an email server running Exchange 5.5. No significant problems since June 1998 installation. Today NT Task Manager/Performance/CPU usage history began to show a red line below the green line on the graph. We cannot find any technical documents describing the significance of the red line. No changes have been made to any performance monitor configurations. What does the red line mean?

Re: Netserver LH II Processors

Click in Task Manager on:
View, you'll see a mark at 'show kernel times'
When you remove the mark, the red line disappears!!
The Show Kernel Times option adds red lines to the CPU Usage and CPU Usage History graphs. The red lines indicate the amount of CPU resources consumed by kernel operations.

This should solve your red-line problem!
