Netserver e45 memory

What type of memory is needed in the Netserver e45? I see it is 72pin SIMM, but is it FPM or EDO? Is a particular speed necessary(60/70 nanosecond)? What is the maximum amount? I've inherited an E45 that has 4 SIMM slots occupied and 2 available with a total of 96MB. Would like to bring server up to 256mb RAM.

60ns ECC FPM SIMMs, added 2 at a time. Maximum 384MB / 6x64MB.

My e45 uses according to its spec card,
36 bit, 60ns, fast page mode non-EDO.
This is very true, got the wrong type and had to source non-EDO. NB Install in each bank by pairs. No single simms. Also do you know why my e45 sees a 2.1gb when i have a 4.2 gb installed ?

Be careful when you replace those memory chip, if are using win2k you may see the blue screen of death with an error code sorry I forgot the code number.
