Netserver lp 1000r SCSI issue

I have a strange problem on my Netserver: Whilst I can install Windows Server 2003 no problem, when it reboots the machine it cannot find the fixed disks. The Symbios shows no SCSI drives during the post process. I've searched around but only found fixes for Win2000 relating to driver issues (which should be native in 2K3?)
I'm tired of the "OS not found" message :)

Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure the system boots from the Symbios cards ? and not a HP netraid card ?
my LPR has both, and will not boot from the Symbios card.
It will say press CTRL-C for symbios, and press CTRL-M for Netraid setups.

Also with W2K3 installed on the 9GB disks of the NetRAID card, I got the above error.

Turns out Netraid does not support partitions greater than 7GB - so you need a small partitiion to install W2K3 on.

No I'm not sure, but it doesnt give me any options during the (non) boot sequence for any SCSI configuration at all. I actually have a 36G drive in there (non partitioned)
When I run the HP tool it doesnt show any fixed disks during the checks. I also have an identical setup which runs just fine. Has my onboard SCSI controller just given up the ghost?
