PAE on DL380 running 2003
I have been told not to add PAE because hp needs .5gb out of our 4gb to run some of their apps. Is this true?

HP some time use 4GB from 5 to run some diagnostics for debugging, however it's not something that usually done at Customer level. PAE used in order O/S seed all extended memory above 4GB
