PCI EXPRESS card on a DL360 G5

Hello,

I am having a hard time to know if i can insert a Mainpine IQ Express fax board in this server.

http://www.mainpine.com/products_IQE.html

No help from HP support or even Mainpine's support center.
Does anyone has used or is using this card on a similar server?
Any comments on this are welcome to me.

First of all, I wish you can use the card. HP only supports their own equipment, even more on servers of your class.

Take a chance to look at the quick specs
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12476_na/12476_na.html

Then be carefull with the actual slot you are using, in fact there are two kind of PCI express installed on the board and according with the OS the number changes. The web page for the Card specs is not giving information regarding versions of the server 2003, the OS you should be using. Check for service packs and the Proliant Support Pack.

The PCIe card shown in the photo appears to be a x1 link, but I see nothing in the specifications to confirm it.
