PCI card prevents system start

Hello

we build a PCI card that runs well in all our PCs. Only the ProLiant ML110 G4 does not boot any more with the card plugged in. Measuring on the PCI bus shows that 3.3Vaux and /PME are high. However, pressing the start button does show no effekt. No voltage at 3.3V lines, RST line not released, no Clock.

Does anyone know what tests are made on the PCI bus that may prevent the system from starting? I assume that such tests are running in the short time between pressing the start button and the start of the fans (which do not start with the card plugged in). As pointed out before, the card runs well in other systems. Maybe there is a test only used in server systems?

(In case boundary scan is mentioned: TDI is connected to TDO, also tested with both running free)

Best Regards
