Partitioning the hard drive after loading SBS 2008
Anyone know how to partition a 1TByte RAID 1 (single partition) without reinstalling or affecting the OS?

Re: Partitioning the hard drive after loading SBS 2008
Roger,
First this Caution from MS: If the partition is a raw partition (that is, one without a file system) that contains data (such as a database file), shrinking the partition might destroy the data.
You can right click on Computer and select mange, then Disk management and there is a selection to shrink the volume, see attached jpeg.
Partiton Magic does sell software that they say will do this, check out this link:

Re: Partitioning the hard drive after loading SBS 2008
Well I think I have some progress by doing it whilst loading SBS 2008. However the state of the RAID 1 after managing to partition the C; drive from Windows install seems to be "REBUILD". Is this something that will go away when it is done or do I need to take action?
