ProLiant DL580(G1) Server Hangs
I have a server (running Windows 2003) that has hung twice in two weeks. The server does not respond to network pings, there is no video on the monitor, but the server lights are still on. I am trying to figure out if the issue could be the array controller.
The first time the issue occurred, it was after the "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider" and the "Volume Shadow Copy Service" kicked off. I disabled these services, but the server hung again this morning.
The only error that I have to go on is that on bootup, I recieve the following error:
The device, \Device\Scsi\cpqarry21, is not ready for access yet.
Am I on the right track? Is there anything else that I can check?
I would appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

Re: ProLiant DL580(G1) Server Hangs
It possibly, however than you should not drop Video Signal.
For safe reason run over updates: System ROM, System management Driver, SC SI driver and SCSI Array Controller Firmware.
