Problem with teaming in HP Proliant DL 580

Hello guys!
I have a little problem with teaming of two network cards of 1 Gigabit/s each one.
As I can see I'm not able to get a higher speed than 40 Mbit/s.
I use HP network Configuration utility 7 for windows 2000.
My server is a DL580 G2 and I have W2K server installed in it.

Could you help me troubleshooting this problem??

What are you gauging that transfer speed against? Also, with the cards un-teamed... do you get a better rate from your test source?
