Problems with Virtual Media RILOE II on Proliant DL760
I work in a financial company and we've got a problem on a DL760 server.
The OS doesn't want to boot (inaccesible boot device) and we want to make a repair via a Windows setup CD.
But, when we affect Virtual CD-ROM in virtual media panel, the server seems not to accept it and boot on hard disk.
We tried several versions of firmware (1.20,1.21), the problem is still here. However, the boot sequence is good (CD,A:,C:)
Any idea ?
(Sorry for my english, I'm French ;-))

Re: Problems with Virtual Media RILOE II on Proliant DL760
I upgraded Compaq BIOS to obtain the latest functionalities but there are no USB fields in ROM-Based utility (see attachment). So, no possibilities to enable it.
I tried to find a update for this utility, but nothing appeared.
Have you got a link, please ?

In the RBSU, under PCI Devices is there an option to assign or revoke the IRQ to the USB controller? If so, enable it.

Re: Problems with Virtual Media RILOE II on Proliant DL760
And after a check on specifications, I noticed that there are no USB ports on this server !
Thank a lot for the links , but the first one needs an OS - this is not my case anymore , and the second needs SmartStart CD, and it's impossible to mount Virtual CD.
Have you got any other idea ?
If not, I think I will go in the front of this server to repair it.
