Proliant 1600 CPU Upgrade

I have compaq proliant 1600 Model 1 315570-xx1 with p II 350 mhz processor. i want to upgrade it to two pentium iii processors with clock > 500 mhz. is this possible ?

As far as my two 1600's go 500's were the max I could get to work.
Anything faster always sais unsuported or no micro code support or somthing like that.
If you find a way to use faster let me know
I have a pair of 650/256/100's that I would love to use.

you need to change the Processor Core/Bus Switch Settings for different CPUs. please find the attachment for switch settings

I tries that in mine it wont work with the 650's it may be becouse of them being only
256 L2.

i've put 2x PIII 600/512 (SL3JM) into my server and they are working fine.
i've also tried to put something faster with 256 kb cache, but server always initializes it as 1024 cache cpu and halt system.
