Proliant 1600 No Video
I got a working 1600 from my boss. It was working fine in the office, and everything was removed i.e. memory. I purchased 1g of memory and started playing, could never get anything to come up on the monitor. Did some research with my boss and found that the board only takes 4 128mg chips. So I purchased 4 more chips. The holes in the memory sticks are a little off, and I have tried so many other chips. I still cannot get anything to come on the screen, the light on the monitor stays orange, never get a green light. I have also tried other video cards, and still nothing... I have got a little cash invested in this for learning and its to the point where I am ready to trash it. Can anyone help?
Thankz
